This illustration was created for one of my senior year classes, in which students had to recreate a mascot for a defunct attraction or place.

I chose to recreate a dinosaur mascot for Disney’s previous Dinoland USA. The area was made to look like a dinosaur themed roadside attraction and theme park. 

Although updated, I still wanted to keep the retro aesthetic the old park had. 

Since Disney is often aimed at children, I wanted my mascot to appear friendly and inviting. 

Mini golf is also an activity people of all ages can partake in and enjoy.
